Clint Franklin “Charlie” Pigg, Sr., 55, of Big Sandy, passed away on Saturday February 12, 2022, at his home. Memorial services will be conducted Saturday February 19th at 2:00 p.m. in the Oakhurst Chapel of the Robertson County Funeral Home with Bill Alexander officiating. Interment will follow in the Rock Springs Cemetery. His nephews will serve as Honorary Pallbearers. The family will receive friends on Saturday from 12 noon until service time at the funeral home.
Clint was born March 11, 1966, in Madison to the late Norman and Ruth Jane Roberts Pigg. He was a graduate of Madison High School Class of 1984, was a member of Parkway Baptist Church, and designed custom boat parts. Clint enjoyed hunting, fishing, cooking, boating, and was an avid Vols fan. He was a big jokester and always enjoyed being with his family and friends, especially out on the water in his boat. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister: Peggy Jean Pigg Alexander.
Clint is survived by his sons: CJ (Alexis) Pigg of Ashland City, Brandon (Mara Schowe) Pigg of Christiansburg, VA, by his brother: Richard (Tammy) Pigg of Greenbrier, by his sisters: Linda Gay (Jerry) Wilkes of Old Hickory and Norma Jane (Ricky) Underhill of Lebanon, by his grandchildren: Cooper Betts and Mayci Pigg, by the mother of his children: Lori Parker of Springfield, by his brother-in-law: Artie Alexander of Hendersonville, by his nephews: Chris Wilkes, Robin Wilkes, Matt Underhill, Josh Underhill, Corey Pigg, Justin Pigg, and Bill Alexander, and by his nieces: Nikki Goodwin, Emily Fisher, Kim Herndon, and Jenni Beth Haskins.
