Clayne Jones

W.F. “Clayne” Jones, 92, of White House, passed away on Monday September 20, 2021, at his home. Funeral services will be conducted Thursday September 23rd at 1:00 p.m. in the Oakhurst Chapel of the Robertson County Funeral Home with Reverend Rick Robinson officiating. Interment will follow in the Mt. Carmel Cemetery with Bobby Couts, Tommy Couts, Neil Reyes, David Fulton, Jim Fisher, and Jackson Jones serving as pallbearers. The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and on Thursday from 10:00 a.m. until service time at the funeral home.

Mr. Jones was born February 9, 1929, in Orlinda to the late Mack and Molly Harris Jones. He was a retired farmer, and he attended Milldale Presbyterian Church. Mr. Jones worked, and his hobby was work. Every now and then he might slip off and do a little fishing. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife: Nancy Pope Jones, by his grandson: Joe Thomas Jones, by his brothers: Thomas “Tuck” and Ralph Jones, and by his sister: Margaret Brown.

Mr. Jones is survived by his son and daughter-in-law: Tom “B.T.” and Betty Jane Jones of White House, by his grandson: Jerry Jones and wife Davida, by his great grandchildren: Savannah and Jackson Jones, and by his brother: Jesse Mack “Benny” Jones.
