Charles Bryan “Chucky” Lassiter, Jr., 66, of Portland, passed away on Sunday April 4, 2021 at his home. There will be a visitation with the family on Wednesday April 7th from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the Robertson County Funeral Home.
Chucky was born March 28, 1955 in Nashville. He was retired from construction work. Chucky enjoyed woodworking, mowing his yard, smoking a good cigar, and spending time and taking care of his family, especially his children and grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father: Charles B. Lassiter, Sr., by his mother: Lillian Dorris Epps “Dot” Haneline, and by his stepson: Kevin Anderson.
Chucky is survived by his wife of 36 years: Gloria Spicer Lassiter of Portland, by his daughter: LaKesha West of Portland, by his son: Logan Lassiter of Portland, by his brothers and sister-in-law: Kenneth Robin and Brenda Haneline, Donald Haneline all of Springfield, by his sisters and brothers-in-law: Dottie Guill of Old Hickory, Judy and Ken Reasoner, Linda and Jeff Hale all of Goodlettsville, by his grandchildren: Kaden Anderson, MaKenzie West, Kailey West, and Tianna Burdge, and by his great grandchild: Haisley Rogers.
