Charles Clayton “Charley” Holland, 53, of Orlinda, passed away on Sunday March 1, 2026, at his home. A time of visitation with the family will be held on Friday March 6th from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the Robertson County Funeral Home.
Charley was born April 28, 1972, in Portland, to the late Johnny and Edwena Spivey Holland. He was a graduate of East Robertson High School Class of 1991 and was a member or Pleasant Hill Baptist Church in Orlinda. Charley worked over 25 years for Electrolux in Springfield as a forklift operator and worked for over 10 years at Wal-Mart in Springfield. He loved NASCAR, especially Dale Earnhardt, and football, especially the Tennessee Titans and Tennessee Vols. Charley loved helping at the Byrum Porter Center in Orlinda and going camping. His favorite pastime was watching the Dukes of Hazard, Ghost Hunters, and horror movies on TV.
Charley is survived by his wife: Connie Ruland of Russellville, KY, by his daughter and son-in-law: Emma and Jesse Hutchison of Adairville, KY, by his son: Clayton Holland of Russellville, KY, by his grandchild: Cooper Gilliam, and by his brother and sister-in-law: Buster and Tonya Holland of Springfield.
