Carolyn Faye (Goodwin) Overstreet

Carolyn Faye Goodwin Overstreet, 70, of Greenbrier, passed from this life on Sunday July 30, 2023, at her home. Funeral services will be conducted Thursday August 3rd at 3:00 p.m. in the Oakhurst Chapel of the Robertson County Funeral Home with Brother Johnny Carver officiating. Interment will follow in the Greenwood Cemetery in Adairville, KY with Keith Colston, Josh Alexander, Andrew Colston, Vinson Eulalio Ramos, Charles Ramos, Sr., and Charles Ramos, Jr. serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be John Alexander and Jamie Alexander. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 1:00 p.m. until service time at the funeral home.

Carolyn was born April 2, 1953, in Russellville, KY to late Albert and Lottie Perry Goodwin. She was a homemaker and was of the Baptist faith. Carolyn enjoyed reading, gardening, sewing, knitting, and especially spending time with her family. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother: Billy Goodwin.

Carolyn is survived by her husband: Victor Overstreet of Greenbrier, by her sons: Keith Colston and wife Audrey of Hendersonville, Joshua Alexander of Gallatin, by her daughter: Misty Colston-Ramos and husband Charles Ramos, Sr., of Smyrna, by her grandchildren: Emma Colston, Andrew Colston, Gwynna Colston, LeeAnne Colston, Vinson Eulalio Ramos, Charles Ramos, Jr., Gabriella Ramos, and Mercedes Ramos, by her step-sons: John Alexander and Jamie Alexander, and by her sister: Barbara Sharp of Dot, KY.
