Carolyn Sora Heatherly Dugger, 75, of Joelton, passed away on Thursday March 26, 2020 at her home. There will be a private family visitation, followed by a private family graveside service in the Mt. Sharon Cemetery with Reverend Hubert Cunningham officiating on Wednesday April 1st. The family plans to hold a public Memorial Service celebrating the life of Carolyn at a future date.
Mrs. Dugger was born June 16, 1944 in Springfield to the late Willard and Pearzitie Powell Heatherly. She was a retired CNA from North Crest Hospice and was a member of Forest Grove United Methodist Church in Joelton. Mrs. Dugger loved dancing, collecting both Angels and Barbie Dolls, and spending time with her family. Preceded in death by her grandson Daniel Burton Dugger, Jr.
Mrs. Dugger is survived by her husband of 58 years: George Burton Dugger, Jr., of Joelton, by her son and daughter-in-law: Daniel Burton and Stephannie Dugger of Springfield, by her daughter and son-in-law: Theresa and Jim Reynolds of Greenbrier, by her brothers: Joe Heatherly of Nashville, Richard Heatherly of Kentucky, and H.L. Heatherly of Castalian Springs, by her sister: Elizabeth of Springfield, by her grandchildren: Heather Reynolds, Richard Cohea, III, Dallas Reynolds, Laurie Jones, Carol Dugger, and Jacob Lindsay, and by 4 great grandchildren.
