Lonnie Harold “Bubba” Gezley, 70, of Springfield, passed away on Monday March 8, 2021 at NorthCrest Health. A Celebration of Life service will be conducted Saturday March 13th at 2:00 p.m. at Flewellyn Baptist Church. The family will receive friends on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until service time at the church.
Bubba was born January 11, 1951 in Springfield to the late Harold and Pauline Yates Gezley. He was a former maintenance engineer and was a member of Flewellyn Baptist Church. Bubba enjoyed playing golf, fishing, and hunting. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Butch, and his sister, Mary.
Bubba is survived by his wife of 38 years: Kim Gibbs Gezley of Springfield, by his son and daughter-in-law: Jacob and Claire Gezley of Covington, by his daughters and son-in-law: Loni Ann and Bo Mantooth of Medina, Danielle Baker of Franklin, KY, by his sisters: Carney Sue West of Dover, Martha Keymon of Springfield, by his grandchildren: Brittany Drounett, Kaileigh, Noah, Landon, and Laughlin Baker, Knox and Harper Mantooth, Gibbs and Ada Jane Gezley, and by 3 great grandchildren.
