Brenda Haynes Roberts, age 76 of Cedar Hill, passed peacefully from this life on Tuesday, January 19, 2021 surrounded by her family from complications of Covid-19. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, January 23, 2021 at 2:00 PM in the Oakhurst Chapel of Robertson County Funeral Home with Bro. Billy Ellis officiating. Burial will follow in Elmwood Cemetery with Matt Baggett, Brendan Diaz-Barriga, Jake Fann, Jesse Villard, Alan Holman, Jay Holman, Mac E. Baggett, Jr., Jonathan Drake, and Carl Turner serving as pallbearers. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday from 5 until 8 PM and Saturday from 12 noon until the hour of service.
Mrs. Roberts was born February 9, 1944 in Robertson County to the late Jesse and Robbie Ree Wilson Davidson. She attended Heads Freewill Baptist Church and was a retired real estate investor and general contractor. She was a longtime member of the Robertson County Board of Realtors. Her passion in life was her family and real estate and as her family stated, she was fun-loving and full of life.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Gary Haynes; grandson, Nathanial Diaz-Barriga; and sister, Mildred Brindley.
Brenda is survived by her husband, Glen Roberts of Cedar Hill; son and daughter-in-law, Jimbo and Joyce Baggett of Cedar Hill; daughters and sons-in-law, Gina Baggett and Michael John Zylstra of Arrington and Christy Baggett and Herman Diaz-Barriga of Goodlettsville; step-daughter, Allison Haynes Holman of Springfield; and grandchildren, Grace Haynes Zylstra, Marty Ree Zylstra, Morgan Baggett (Jake) Fann, Matthew (Jordan) Baggett, Brendan Diaz-Barriga, Nadia Diaz-Barriga, Noah Diaz-Barriga, Ashley Hand, Jay (Libby) Holman, and Alan Holman.
