Brenda (White) Gainous

Brenda Kaye White Gainous, 62, of Springfield, passed from this life on Monday February 8, 2021 at her home. Funeral services will be conducted Friday February 12th at 2:00 p.m. in the Oakhurst Chapel of the Robertson County Funeral Home with Brother Allen Woodard officiating. Interment will follow in the Gainous Cemetery in Adairville, KY with Jeremy Gainous, Ivan Gainous, Dalton Gainous, Preston Gibson, Trystan Gibson, and John White serving as pallbearers. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and on Friday from 12 noon until service time at the funeral home.

Brenda was born January 25, 1959 in Springfield to the late Paul and Bonnie Lee Harris White. She was a bookkeeper at Greenbrier High School and was a member of Forest Grove Baptist Church. Brenda loved collecting antiques, going to flea markets, cooking for her family and friends, and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband: Steve Gainous, by her grandchild: Avery Brooke Gainous, by her sister: Darlene Dorris, and by her father-in-law: Glenn Gainous. Brenda is survived by her children: Corissa Gibson, Jeremy (Lindsay) Gainous, Ivan (Abbi Graves) Gainous, and Dalton (Kamala) Gainous all of Springfield, by her brother: John (Demetria) White of Springfield, by her sisters: Barbara (Edward) Plunkett, Diane (Earl) Fuqua, and Paulla (Charles Wayne) Atchley all of Springfield, by her grandchildren: Preston Gibson, Trystan Gibson, Brennlee Gibson, Addyson Gainous, Anyston Gainous, Hailey Gainous, Charlotte Gainous, and Dawson Gainous, by two that loved her as a grandmother: Bentley and Makinsey, by her mother-in-law: Murlene Gainous and by her brother-in-law: Scott Gainous both of Adairville, KY.
