Brenda Marie Cotter

Brenda Marie Cotter, 54, of Springfield, died Tuesday March 4, 2014 at her home. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday March 7th at 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church with Father Prentice Dean as Celebrant. Interment will follow in Robertson County Memorial Gardens with Joe Cotter III, Gaylon Pridmore, Joshua Pridmore, Chase Pridmore, Toney Horton, and Linus Catignani serving as pallbearers. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 3:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Rosary services will be Thursday at 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Brenda was born December 7, 1959 in Davidson County to the late Joseph Anthony and Ruth Elizabeth Nichols Cotter. She was a member of the Cedar Hill FCE and was involved in Special Olympics. She was a communicant of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Gayle Cotter. Brenda is survived by her brothers and sisters-in-law: Tony and Cathy Cotter of Springfield, Robert "Bud" and JoAnn Cotter of Springfield, sister and brother-in-law: Sue and Larry Jackson of Nashville, several nieces and nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
