Born and raised in Springfield, TN where he attended school in the Robertson County School system. He was a handyman and enjoyed outside work. He shared his fun, outgoing personality with everyone and never met a stranger. He loved his family and was always bringing lots of laughter. Antwon was known for his incredible athletic ability, playing baseball, but was sensational in basketball. He was a member of Beards Chapel Church Reverend Randy Taylor pastor.
He leaves to cherish his memories wife Sheronda Taylor, his children Verrico Taylor, Patrick Chatman, and Antwon V. Head, Step sons Oktavian Moss and Isiah Moss, sister in laws Lillie Taylor and Vera Taylor. He leaves behind his best friend Darrell Woodard, a special niece Sheika Taylor, a host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews, friends and others in the community that loved him. He will be remembered by all the neighborhood children, because he was always kidding around with them. In addition, he was very caring and would offer words of wisdom to them.
Antwon joins in heaven his mother Gladys Watkins Taylor, father James Ellis Turner, all of his brothers and sisters Mary Etta Taylor, John Taylor, Billie Taylor, Jimmy Taylor, and Christine Taylor.
A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, October 2, 2019 at 7:00 pm. Held at Beards Chapel Church.
