Obituary

Anthony Michael Pompa, 43, of Springfield and formerly of Baldwinsville, NY, died suddenly on Friday April 1, 2022. His remains will be cremated, and a private celebration of life will be held.

Anthony was born April 20, 1978, in Columbus, OH. He enjoyed spending time with his family, playing his guitar, movies, golf, Texas Hold’em, video games, and the outdoors. Anthony was preceded in death by his mother: Laura Marcum Howe, by his grandmothers: Georgia Marcum and Beatrice Pompa, by his grandfather: Joseph Pompa, and by his nephew: Bradley Burns.

Anthony is survived by his father: John Pompa, Sr, by his step-father: James Howe, by his grandfather: Arthur Marcum, by his brothers: Bill Oppenheimer and John Pompa, by his sisters: Erica Kral, Michelle Pompa, Bea Teller, Mary Lynn Preston, by his aunts: Arthena Clifton, Wanda Woolever, Diana Linden, and Mary Wood, by his nephews: Mikey Kral, Connor Kral, Tommy Oppenheimer, Liam Oppenheimer, Evan Oppenheimer, and Emmet Teller, by his nieces: Jordan James, Kendall Kral, Addyson Kral, Tori Teller, Sara Teller, Eliza Teller, Cecilia Teller, Lora Preston, Sabrina Preston, and Katja Preston, and by his cousin: BreAnn Burnette.
