Ann Love

Ann Love, age 79 of Springfield, died Wednesday, October 1, 2014 at her home. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, October 4, 2014 at 2:00 PM in the Oakhurst Chapel of Robertson County Funeral Home with Rev. Michael Smith officiating. Interment will follow in Springfield Memorial Gardens with John Carrington, Adam Hulsey, Matt Campbell, Jeff Gragg, Dan Ayers, Steve Darrow, Billy Darrow, and Terry Brown serving as pallbearers. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday from 4 until 8 PM and Saturday from 10 AM until the hour of service.
Mrs. Love was born February 9, 1935 in Robertson County to the late Waverly Nathan and Willie Ann Randolph Brown. She was a longtime member of North Springfield Baptist, was a member of the NorthCrest Auxillary, and was retired from Electrolux. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Wallace Leo Love, Sr. and six brothers and sisters.
She is survived by her son, Wallace L. Love, Jr. and wife, Linda of Springfield; daughter, Joy Love of Springfield; sister, Laura Dunivan of Springfield; grandchildren, Corey Love of New York, NY, Velvet Carrington and husband, John of Springfield, Courtney Hulsey and husband, Adam of Springfield, and Victoria Ann Love of Springfield; and great grandchildren, Brittany Carrington and Cooper Hulsey; and mother of Corey and Velvet, Marcia Love.
The family request memorial contributions be made to the North Springfield Baptist Church Building Fund. All donations can be sent c/o Robertson County Funeral Home.
