Angela Joy Williams Chowning, 48, of Greenbrier, passed away on Monday March 7, 2022, at Skyline Medical Center. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday March 12th at 2:00 p.m. in the Oakhurst Chapel of the Robertson County Funeral Home with Minister Jeff Kennedy officiating. Interment will follow in Springfield Memorial Gardens with Ron Williams, Robbin Williams, Roger Williams, Jay Murphy, Allen Miller, Jeff Freeman, Matt Carroll, and Jeremy Beerman serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Jerry Scarbrough, Barry Jones, Chad Crain, and Kelly Gay. The family will receive friends on Friday from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until service time at the funeral home.
Angela was born January 20, 1974, in Huntington, IN to the late Delbert Eugene and Dorris Smith Williams. She was an Assistant Vice President and Branch Manger with Volunteer State Bank in Springfield, was a member of Light’s Chapel Baptist Church, served as a Vice President with American Legion Post 45 Auxiliary, and served as Secretary for the American Legion Post 45 Riders. Angela loved riding motorcycles, dancing, spending time with her friends, and helping support many fundraisers, especially those fundraisers that centered around Veterans and those that centered around Breast Cancer.
Angela is survived by her fiancé: Wallace “Wally” Moulton of Greenbrier, by the ones she considered her children: Brennan Davenport of Adairville, KY, Dylan Moulton of Russellville, KY, Tyler Chowning of Orlinda, and Raegan Moulton of Auburn, KY, by her brothers: Ron (Vicki) Williams of Waxhaw, NC, Robbin Williams of Nashville, and Roger (Ellen) Williams of Chelsea, AL, by her nieces: Jayme Potter, Bella Williams, and Sophia Williams, and by grandchildren: Cole and Marcie Chowning.
