Sue Frye

Susan Diane "Sue" Appleton Frye, 64, of Springfield, died Saturday February 18, 2017 at Centennial Medical Center. Funeral services will be conducted Friday February 24th at 2:00 p.m. in the Oakhurst Chapel of the Robertson County Funeral Home with Kris Appleton and Dale Swearingen officiating. Interment will follow in Springfield Memorial Gardens with Dusty Appleton, Terry Feinstein, Kenneth Brown, Brennan Davenport, Wallace Mouton, and Kris Appleton serving as pallbearers. The family will receive friends on Friday from 9:00 a.m. until service time at the funeral home.

Mrs. Frye was born June 19, 1952 in Logan County, KY to the late Granville and Alberta Braswell Appleton. She was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith. Mrs. Frye loved fishing, camping, dancing, and singing. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother: Jackie Appleton, and by her sisters: Doris Jean Harper and Judy Appleton.

Mrs. Frye is survived by her husband: Terry Frye, step-son: Terry Feinstein of Springfield, step-daughters: Wanda Gale Hosale of Portland, Taylor Ann Feinstein of Woodbury, brother: Randy Appleton of Springfield, sisters: Paulette Moulton and Melaine Appleton both of Springfield, six step grandchildren
