Norman Brickles Obituary

Norman Jay Brickles, 64, of Springfield, died Friday December 22, 2017 at Centennial Medical Center. Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday December 27th at 10:00 a.m. in the Oakhurst Chapel of the Robertson County Funeral Home with Brother Bob Filson officiating. Interment will follow in Mt. Carmel Cemetery in Cross Plains with Colby Drake, Alex Brickles, Carson Drake, Colin Holloway, John Holloway, Joe Drake, Scott Brickles, and Brennan Holloway serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be his co-workers at Allstar Fire Protection. The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and on Wednesday from 9:00 a.m. until service time at the funeral home.

Mr. Brickles was born August 4, 1953 in Robertson County. He was a purchasing agent for Allstar Fire Protection and was a member of Mt. Carmel Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his father: Don Brickles, and by his mother: Katherine Hardison Shelton. Mr. Brickles is survived by his wife: Dianne Head Brickles of Springfield, son and daughter-in-law: Clint and Kimberly Brickles of Springfield, daughters and sons-in-law: Dana and John Holloway of Franklin, Bethany and Joe Drake of Cedar Hill, brothers: Wayne Long of Springfield and Alfred Brickles of Orlinda, sisters: Rose Clinard of Cross Plains and Brenda D'Entrement of Vermont, grandchildren: Annsley, Colin, and Brennan Holloway, Colby and Carson Drake, Alex Brickles.
