Gloria Spicer Obituary

Gloria Evelyn Spicer, age 76 of Springfield, TN died Tuesday April 11, 2017 at her home. Mrs. Spicer was born September 22, 1940 in Davidson Co. TN to the late Otis Haskel Davenport and Mattie Bagsby Davenport. A brother, Otis Haskel Davenport II and a grandchild, Kevin Anderson also preceded her in death. Mrs. Spicer loved reading, gardening and cutting her lawn, her dog Spot was a constant companion whom she loved dearly.
Surviving her are her son, Harold "Bubba" Spicer of Springfield; daughters and son-in-law, Gloria and Charles Lassiter of Portland, TN and Tracey Rimington of Springfield; brother and sister-in-law, Billy Eugene and Clara Davenport of Springfield; sister-in-law, Nelda Davenport of Tucson, AZ; grandchildren, LaKesha West and Logan Lassiter and great grandchildren, Kaden Anderson, MaKenzie West and Kailey West.
Mrs. Spicer's remains were cremated per her request and a private family burial of her remains was held in Greenbrier Cemetery.
