Freeman Allen Loafman, 81, of Greenbrier, died Saturday February 3, 2018 at NHC Healthcare in Springfield. Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday February 7th at 12 noon in the Oakhurst Chapel of the Robertson County Funeral Home with Dr. Steve Freeman officiating. Interment will follow in the Spring Hill Cemetery in Madison. The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and on Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. until service time at the funeral home.
Mr. Loafman was born July 30, 1936 in Bowling Green, KY to the late Ed and Essie Loafman. He was a retired machine operator with Ford Motor and he was a Christian. He was a member of the former Greenbrier Lions Club. Mr. Loafman enjoyed gardening, raising chickens, raising kennel dogs, riding quarter horses, and buying, selling, and trading pocket knives.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife: Ernestine Clay Loafman, his brothers: Chester and Harrison Loafman, and his sister: Thelma Davis. Mr. Loafman is survived by his son and daughter-in-law: Ray and Angela Loafman of Pleasant View, daughter and son-in-law: Sherry and John Bagwell of Greenbrier, sister: Betty Loafman of Lawrenceburg, grandchildren: Brandi Bagwell Kubala and Jessica Roman, two great grandchildren
