Floy Hatfield Graves

Floy Ellen Hatfield Graves, 88, of Springfield, passed away on Wednesday August 15, 2018 at NHC Healthcare in Springfield. Graveside services will be conducted Saturday August 18th at 11:00 a.m. in the Elmwood Cemetery with Tim Harris officiating. Pallbearers will be Austin Wood, Michael Wood, Samuel Bernhardt, Myron Thurman, Allen Rippy, and Patrick Witherington. The family will receive friends on Saturday from 9:00 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. at the Robertson County Funeral Home.

Mrs. Graves was born September 27, 1929 in Cedar Hill to the late Clarence and Lema Ogg Hatfield. She was a retired sales associate with K-Mart and was of the Methodist faith. Mrs. Graves loved quilting and sewing. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband: Charles Raymond Graves, and siblings: Mary Margaret Porter, Dorothy Helen Rippy, Ann Rippy, Betty Thurman, Clarence "Buddy" Hatfield, Jr., and Carol Fay Hatfield.

Mrs. Graves is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law: Denise and Samuel Bernhardt of Loganville, GA, Shelia and Michael Wood of Hiram, GA, her sister and brother-in-law: Clarice and Tom Herndon of Cedar Hill, and by her grandchildren: Heather, Jennifer, Christine, and Austin
