Devona C. Marlar

Devona C. Marlar, age 67, of Springfield, TN died Tuesday December 13, 2016 at North Crest Medical Center in Springfield. Funeral services will be conducted at 12 pm on Friday December 16, 2016 in the Oakhurst Chapel of the Robertson County Funeral Home with Bro. Billy Creek and Bro. Jr. Hensley officiating. Burial will be at 3pm on Friday in the Ridgetop Cemetery in Crofton KY with Bro. Joe Marlar officiating. Zachary Gammon, Caleb Payne, Chandler Payne, Dalton Tramell, Jason Crick and Bill Crick will serve as pallbearers. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday from 4-8 pm and again on Friday from 9 am until the hour of service at 12 pm.
Mrs. Marlar was born August 14, 1949 in Hopkinsville, KY to the late Leonard Clark and Billie Jean Lewis Clark. Her brother Jr. Clark also preceded her in death. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother, a member of Zion Chapel Assembly of God where her husband is pastor and worked as a School bus attendant for the Robertson County Board of Education as well as her full time job as a pastors wife.
Surviving Mrs. Marlar are her husband, Bro. Larry R. Marlar of Springfield, daughters, Tonya Lynn Gammon of Crofton, KY, Shannon Renee Payne of Springfield, sisters, Mildred (Billy) Crick of Crofton, JoAnn (Dennis) Parker of Dawson Springs, KY, Charlotte Baxter of Louisville, KY, grandchildren, Zachary Gammon, Peyton Gammon, Caleb (Kelsey) Payne, Chandler Payne and Connor Payne.
The family request if so desired, memorial contributions may be made to the Devona Marlar funeral fund. All donations should be sent to the Robertson County Funeral Home.
