Dana Cooksey Holt

Dana Cooksey Holt, 47, of Adams, died Thursday April 5, 2018 at Vanderbilt Medical Center. Funeral services will be conducted Sunday April 8th at 2:00 p.m. in the Oakhurst Chapel of the Robertson County Funeral Home with Reverend Ronnie Smith officiating. Interment will follow in the Bellwood Cemetery with Reverend Al Hodges officiating and Joshua Holt, Jesse Holt, Jacob Holt, Dakota Rawls, Teddy Douglas, and Timmy Head serving as pallbearers. The family will receive friends on Saturday from 2:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and on Sunday from 11:00 a.m. until service time at the funeral home.

Dana was born August 19, 1970 in Robertson County. She was a graduate of Jo Byrns High School Class of 1988. She received her BSN from MTSU. Dana was a member of Harmony Baptist Church. She worked as the Nurse Supervisor for Robertson County Schools. Dana loved camping, cooking, taking meals to other people, her animals, and especially spending time with her family and friends.

Dana is survived by her husband: Rusty Holt of Adams, her sons: Joshua (Alicia) Holt of Cedar Hill, Jesse Holt of Cedar Hill, Jacob Holt of Adams, her mother: Cheryl Ragland Ford of Adams, her father: Danny Cooksey of Springfield, her half-sisters: Crystal Steward of Springfield and Heather Holland of Nashville her nephew: Dakota Rawls of Cedar Hill, and by her aunt: Staci Krantz of Springfield
