Cora Yearwood Obituary
Core Lee Savage Yearwood, 64, of Springfield, died Sunday April 9, 2017 at North Crest Medical Center. Her remains were cremated and a private graveside service will be conducted in the Springfield Memorial Gardens.
Mrs. Yearwood was born August 23, 1952 in Robertson County to the late Richard and Pauline Trauth Savage. She was a retired secretary from the Department of Human Services for the State of Tennessee. Mrs. Yearwood attended Owens Chapel United Methodist Church. She loved crocheting, cross stitching, and Dalmatians. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Gaylord "Chuck" Yearwood and her brother, Richard "Bubba" Savage. Mrs. Yearwood is survived by her sister and brother-in-law: Kitty and Jim Miller of Springfield, niece: Dr. Courtney Miller Dickson and her husband Kyley of Knoxville, nephew: Christopher Miller of Springfield, and by several cousins.
