Claude Anderson

Claude Odell Anderson, 84, of Greenbrier, died Wednesday May 31, 2017 at NHC Healthcare in Springfield. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday June 3rd at 12 noon in the Oakhurst Chapel of the Robertson County Funeral Home with Dr. Tommy Crunk officiating. Interment will follow in Springfield Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends on Friday from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until service time at the funeral home.

Mr. Anderson was born March 9, 1933 in Robertson County to the late Sammy Lee and Alma Grant Anderson. He was a retired Lieutenant from the Springfield Police Department with 26 years of service. Mr. Anderson was a member of Rock Springs Baptist Church. He enjoyed fishing and spending time with his grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son: Michael Anderson, his brother: J. Mart Anderson, and by his sister: Bobbie Scott.

Mr. Anderson is survived by his wife: Betty Sue England Anderson of Greenbrier, sons and daughters-in-law: Tommy and Carol Anderson, Steve and Vicki Anderson all of Greenbrier, brother: Mac Anderson of Springfield, sisters: Lucille Choate of Illinois and June Stone of Big Sandy, 3 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren
