Beatrice Adams Brant

Beatrice Adams Brant, age 95 of Cross Plains, died Saturday, May 7, 2016 at Golden Living Center in Springfield. Funeral Services were conducted Monday, May 9, 2016 in the Oakhurst Chapel of the Robertson County Funeral Home with Reverend Clint Jones officiating. Interment followed in Springfield Memorial Gardens with Brian Adams, Weston Adams, Adam True, Dillon Wix, Marshall Wix, and Matthew Wix serving as pallbearers.

Mrs. Brant was born on November 7, 1920 in Murray County, GA to the late Grady and Mittie Blassingame Adams also preceding her in death is her husband, Ralph Brant, her brother Harold Adams, and her nephews Frederick Shockley, and Keith Adams. She worked as a Legal Secretary for the Federal Government. She was a member of the 1st Baptist Church of Washington D.C., and she loved animals.

She is survived by her sister Mary Adams Shockley of Cross Plains, her nieces and nephew, Juanita Wix, Anita Adams, and Roger, Adams, Eugene Adams.

The Family requests memorial contributions to the Milldale Presbyterian Church. All donations can be sent care of the Robertson County Funeral Home.
