Arna Herndon Obituary
Arna Sue Herndon, 58, of Springfield, died Thursday March 31, 2016 at Alive Hospice Skyline Madison Campus. Graveside memorial services will be conducted Wednesday April 6th at 1:00 p.m. in the Elmwood Cemetery with Bro. Jon Briggs and Bro. Andy Ward officiating. The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the Robertson County Funeral Home.
Arna was born September 16, 1957 in Robertson County to Reba Bowling Herndon and the late Harvey C. Herndon, Jr. She had worked at Wal-Mart as a cashier and was a member of Mt. Denson Cumberland Presbyterian Church. Arna loved to travel, and was an avid U.T. Vols and TN Titans fan.
She is survived by her daughter: Lindsey (Douglas Thompson) Cox of Greenbrier, mother: Reba Herndon of Springfield, brother and sister-in-law: Randy and Freda Herndon of Springfield, grandson: Lucas Thompson, nephews: Grant and Ross Herndon, Fiancé: Robert Hutson of Portland.
