Veta Mae Williams

Veta Mae Whittenberg Williams, 93, of Cross Plains, passed away Tuesday December 18, 2018 at the Gallatin Center for Rehab. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday December 22nd at 3:00 p.m. in the Oakhurst Chapel of the Robertson County Funeral Home with Brother Ronnie Twyman officiating. Interment will follow in the Cross Plains Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Saturday from 1:00 p.m. until service time at the funeral home.

Mrs. Williams was born July 3, 1925 in Parma, Missouri to the late Robert E. and Katie Wilburn Whittenberg. She was a homemaker and of the Church of Christ faith. Mrs. Williams enjoyed gardening, cooking, and was always a very virtuous lady that loved her family dearly. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband: Charles Junior Williams, her daughter: Veronica Foutch, and by her siblings: Eugene, William, and Opal Whittenberg.

Mrs. Williams is survived by her daughter and son-in-law: Carroll and Ronnie Twyman of Henryville, IN, her son and daughter-in-law: Jerry and Viola Harris of Phoenix, AZ, her grandchildren: Shandell Wiley, Michal Stephens, Lewauna Reardon, Rick Stephens, Ronda Reese, Wesley Harris, Angela Harris, and Lynn Harris, 14 great grandchildren and 7 great great grandchildren.
