Steven Wayne Andress

Steven Wayne Andress, age 47 of Cedar Hill, passed away Saturday, August 24, 2019 at NorthCrest Medical Center. Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, August 28, 2019 at 1:00 PM in the Oakhurst Chapel of Robertson County Funeral Home with Rev. Adam Hodges officiating. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 4 until 8 PM and Wednesday from 11 AM until the hour of service.

Mr. Andress was born November 2, 1971 in Davidson County. He was a member of Barren Plains Baptist Church and worked for the State of Tennessee. He was also a veteran of the United States Navy. He was preceded in death by his father, Paul Marco Andress, and by grandparents, Roy Kenneth and Cora Sue Bilbrey.

Steven was always considerate of everyone. He had a soft and very kind heart. He was always willing and eager to help anyone. He made life joyful and would always make you laugh. He loved to tell stories about his adventures and trials in life. He would always try to teach you everything he knew. Steven was very intelligent and could do anything, whether it was with his hands or his mind, he always knew how to handle any project. He was an adventurous person. He loved being on the water, boating and canoeing, grilling to perfection, riding his 4-wheeler, and watching football. He was a loving and caring man who will remain in the hearts of the ones he loved forever.

He is survived by his mother and step-father, Debbie and David Pulley; wife, Renee Andress; sister, Shannon Dillehay and husband, Scott; niece, Camryn Dillehay; nephew, Benjamin Dillehay; and friend, Ada Brown.

The family request, if so desired, for memorial contributions to be made to the American Heart Association. All donations can be sent c/o Robertson County Funeral Home.
