Shela Hunter Obituary

Shela Marie Hunter, 65, of Springfield, passed away Monday July 8, 2019 at her home. Her remains were cremated and a private burial will be held. Shela was born May 16, 1954 in Gallatin to the late Herman and Iva Pinson Spurlock, Jr. She had worked as a cook at various restaurants, nursing homes, and the Robertson County Detention Center, and was also a homemaker. Shela was a member of Eastland Heights Baptist Church. She enjoyed knitting, especially hats for newborn babies and various charities, and she also enjoyed watching wrestling. Shela is survived by her husband: Joe Hunter and by several cousins.
