Paul Leftrick Obituary

Paul M. Leftrick, 82, of Springfield, passed away on Friday March 15, 2019 at NHC Healthcare in Springfield. Funeral services will be conducted Sunday March 17th at 2:00 p.m. in the Oakhurst Chapel of the Robertson County Funeral Home with Brother David Davis and Brother Judson Phenicie officiating. Interment will follow in the Elmwood Cemetery with Jake Simpson, Caleb Simpson, Corey Leftrick, Jared Leftrick, Justin Grissom, and Daniel Meehan serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearer will be Ryan Leftrick. The family will receive friends on Saturday from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and on Sunday from 10:00 a.m. until service time at the funeral home.

Mr. Leftrick was born April 15, 1936 in Springfield to the late Herschel and Bessie Gamble Leftrick. He is a veteran of the U.S. Army, having served during the Korean Conflict. Mr. Leftrick retired from Goad Implement Co. where he worked as a farm machinery mechanic. He was a member of the First Free Will Baptist Church in Springfield. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother: Ralph Leftrick.

Mr. Leftrick is survived by his wife: Sarah Carter Leftrick, his sons and daughters-in-law: Jeff and Delores Leftrick of Springfield, Jason and Sarina Leftrick of Springfield, Michael and Joanna Jenkins of Hendersonville, James Allan and Toni Simpson of Gallatin, Larry Simpson of Scottsville, KY, David Hall of Springfield, by his daughters and sons-in-law: Vickie Vaughan of Springfield, Brenda and Ronald Gillespie of Florida, by his sister: Jean Cobb Craft of Springfield, 12 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren.
