Martha Lee Ratzer, 82, of Springfield, passed from this life on Wednesday November 6, 2019 at The Residence at Alive Hospice in Nashville. A private graveside service will be held in Springfield Memorial Gardens with Reverend Bob Carroll officiating.
Ms. Ratzer was born October 21, 1937 in Russellville, KY to the late Charlie Gordon and Maude Mayberry Hardin. She was a retired custodian with Golden Living Nursing Home and was a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church and the Ladies Sunday School Class. Ms. Ratzer was an avid reader and loved flowers, gardening, hummingbirds, and all animals, especially her cat. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings: Lester Hardin, James Lee Hardin, Beatrice Blanton Barlett, and Mae Leding.
Ms. Ratzer is survived by her daughter and son-in-law: Kathy and Kent Evetts of Greenbrier, by her son and daughter-in-law: Jimmy and Leslie Ratzer of Springfield, by her grandchildren: Kaila Jade Ratzer and Elijah Kade Evetts, by the father of her children and dear friend: James Ratzer, Sr., of Greenbrier, and by her best buddy, her cat Baby.
