Larry Norris

Larry Norris, age 70 of Springfield, died Sunday, June 16, 2019 at NorthCrest Medical Center. Visitation will be held Wednesday, June 19, 2019 from 10 AM until 8 PM at Milldale Chapel. Following the visitation his remains will be cremated and buried in Orlinda Cemetery.

Mr. Norris was born November 28, 1948 in Burkesville, KY to the late Stanley and Odell Ballard Norris. He was a carpenter and as his family says, a jack of all trades. He enjoyed hunting and fishing and taking care of his kids and grandkids. He got a lot of pleasure from aggravating his sons-in-law. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Larry Junior Norris II.

He is survived by his wife, Janet Norris of Springfield; daughters and sons-in-law, Anna and David Smith of Madison, Marcy and Timothy Prochaska of Portland, and Luann and Andy Rose of Springfield; grandchildren, Vincent Huff, Adam Smith, Larry Ty Norris, Logan Smith, Natasha Parks, Joseph Parks, Jonathan Rose, and Ethan Rose; great grandchild Heath Alan Parks; and several brothers and sisters.
