Karen Bracey Fulton, 57, of Springfield, passed from this life on Wednesday August 21, 2019 at Sheridan Memorial Hospital in Sheridan, WY from injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident. Funeral services will be conducted Thursday August 29th at 1:00 p.m. in the Oakhurst Chapel of the Robertson County Funeral Home with Tim Harris officiating. Interment will follow in Springfield Memorial Gardens with Terry Hunter, Charles Gregory, Bud Johnson, Roger Herndon, Kyle Herndon, and Coby Wilson serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers with be the employees of Springfield Kroger. The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and on Thursday from 11:00 a.m. until service time at the funeral home.
Karen was born November 6, 1961 in Springfield. She was a graduate of Greenbrier High School Class of 1980. She has worked at the Springfield Kroger’s for 40 years and was presently an Accounting Clerk. Karen was a member of the Gold Wing Road Riders Association, and the UFCW Local for the past 40 years. She was of the Baptist faith. Karen’s three loves in life was going on motorcycle trips all over the country, spending time with her friends and family, and shopping.
Karen was preceded in death by her brother: Wayne Bracey. She is survived by her husband of 25 years: Barry Fulton of Springfield, by her parents: Ralph and Jerry Ann Felts Bracey of Greenbrier, by her sisters and brother-in-law: Dee Herndon of Greenbrier, Stephanie and Patrick Baldwin of Greenbrier, by her nephews: Roger (Stephanie) Herndon, Kyle (Hannah) Herndon, Coby (Kim) Wilson, by her great nieces: Harper and Eloise Herndon, and by her great nephews: Maxwell, Michael, Cooper, and Matthew Herndon.
