Joyce (Brown) Marlin

Joyce Marlin, age 77 of Springfield, died Thursday, May 2,2019 at the Waters of Springfield. Funeral services will be conducted Monday, May 6, 2019 at 1:00 PM in the Oakhurst Chapel of the Robertson County Funeral Home with Tim Harris officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Goodlettsville with Shane Brown, Blake Braswell, Cole Allen, Billy Johnson, Gary Marlin, and Thomas Jones serving as pallbearers. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday from 1 until 5 PM and again on Monday from 11 AM until the hour of service.

Mrs. Marlin was born February 1, 1942 in Robertson County to the late Willie and Marie Raymer Brown. She was a homemaker and loved flowers and her family. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Marlin.

She is survived by her sons, Gary Marlin (Billy Johnson) of Springfield and Steve Marlin (Sherry Steele) of Ridgetop; brothers, Roy Brown of Goodlettsville, Larry Brown of Portland, Randy Brown of Hendersonville, Tim Brown of Millersville, and Danny Brown of Millersville; grandchildren, Jennifer Braswell, Jessica Marlin, and Kristie Anding; and great grandchildren, Matthew Marlin, Aiden Braswell, Olivia Braswell, and Klynna Anding.

Robertson County Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
