Joyce Ann Henderson Krisle

Joyce Ann (Henderson) Krisle, age 77, joined her beloved husband,
Jimmy, and daughter, Angela, in heaven on Wednesday,
December 26, 2018, while surrounded by loved ones. She was born June 4, 1941 in Springfield, TN to Edmund and Rachel (Hinkle) Henderson, and was the oldest of four children.
Joyce was a very active member of North Springfield Baptist Church, where she served as a Sunday school teacher, leader of the nominating committee, and as a member of the Women at Missions and ladies ministry groups.
She worked as the payroll director at Hardaway Construction for over 20 years before her retirement.
Joyce's greatest joy in life was spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Her hobbies included cooking, baking, and sharing meals with those in need. She was an avid reader who passed her love of books to her family. Her mission in life, and last expressed wish, was for others to know and love Christ.
She is preceded in death by: her father and mother, Edmund and Rachel Henderson, her oldest daughter, Angela (Brown) Thomas, and her husband, Jimmy Ray Krisle. Left to honor and remember her are: her daughter, Debbie (Frank) Edens; three grandchildren, Joshua (Amy) Wilkins, Amanda Edens, and Christina Edens; two great-grandchildren, Annie Reed Wilkins and Grant Wilkins; brother, David (Brenda) Henderson; sisters, Betty (Vester) Harris and Beverly (Paul Lawnduski; special cousin, Janet Wassom; and many nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held Saturday, December 29, 2018 at 11:00 AM at North Springfield Baptist Church with Rev. Michael Smith and Bro. Bob Filson officiating. Burial will follow in Springfield Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Friday at Robertson County Funeral Home from 3 until 7 PM and Saturday at North Springfield Baptist Church from 9:30 AM until the hour of service.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to North Springfield Baptist Church.
