James "Mudd" Yates

James Wayne “Mudd” Yates, 49, of Springfield, passed away on Sunday September 22, 2019. Funeral services will be conducted Monday September 30th at 6:00 p.m. in the Oakhurst Chapel of the Robertson County Funeral Home. The family will receive friends on Monday from 2:00 p.m. until the hour of service at the funeral home.

Mudd was born October 30, 1969 in Springfield. He worked as a tree trimmer. Mudd is survived by his parents: Lonnie and Helen Marie Mooneyhan Yates of Springfield, sons: James Dean of Springfield and Joshua Dean of Clarksville, by his daughter: Chasity Griffel of Michigan, by his brothers: Stephen, Randall, Terry, Michael, Jeffery, and Robert Yates all of Springfield, by his sisters: Marcie Harris of Springfield, Joyce Long of Russellville, KY, Cynthia Gutierrez of Springfield, and Janelle Brooks of California, and by 8 grandchildren.
