James Louis Blackburn

James Louis Blackburn, 72, of Springfield, died Sunday, December 15, 2019 at his home. Graveside services will be held on Friday, December 20 at 1pm in Springfield Memorial Gardens Mausoleum with Tim Harris officiating.

Mr. Blackburn was born on March 18, 1947 to the late Elouis Hassell and Mary Elizabeth Burns Blackburn. Mr. Blackburn was an operator for Hinkle Chair Company. Louis enjoyed watching TV, drinking coffee, hunting and fishing.

In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his bothers; Terry Wayne Blackburn, David Blackburn, Steven Blackburn, his sister; Shirley Ann Kurbis, and his great grandson; Jayden Hucklebee.

Mr. Blackburn is survived by; his wife, Wanda M. Blackburn of Springfield, his daughter; Serena Blackburn of Clarksville, his brother; Danny Blackburn of Springfield, his sisters; Mary Louise Hamill of Springfield, Joyce Traughber of Cedar Hill, Carolyn Brown of Adams, Linda Gail Blackburn of Lebanon, Kathleen Woody of Springfield, two grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
