Harry Robert Feeney, 93, of Springfield, passed away on Saturday January 4, 2020 at The Residence at Alive Hospice. A private graveside service will be conducted in the Middle Tennessee State Veterans Cemetery with Tim Harris officiating. Pallbearers will be Harry R. Feeney, Sean Feeney, Michael Franklin, Frank Wells, Kelton Wells, Shane Franklin. There will be a visitation with the family on Thursday January 9th from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Robertson County Funeral Home.
Mr. Feeney was born June 29, 1926 in Orange, NJ to the late Harry Raymond and Catherine Belle Cody Feeney. He was a retired Transportation Engineer with Steiner Liff and was of the Catholic faith. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, having served in both WWII and the Korean Conflict. Mr. Feeney enjoyed working and building model trains. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife: Kathryn Ann Vietor Feeney, and by his brother: Raymond Eugene Feeney.
Mr. Feeney is survived by his sons and daughters-in-law: Harry R. and Cyndie Feeney of Springfield, Sean and Kim Feeney of Nashville, by his daughters and sons-in-law: Kathleen and Michael E. Franklin of Nashville, Laurie and Frank Wells of Springfield, by 6 grandchildren and by 7 great grandchildren.
