Faye Mantlo Bunch, 81, of Springfield, passed away on Friday March 8, 2019 at NHC Healthcare in Springfield. Graveside services will be conducted Monday March 11th at 3:30 p.m. in the Springfield Memorial Gardens with Tim Harris officiating. Brannon Smith, Duran Bunch, Ross Smith, Troy Smith, Dan Jenkins, Jason Smith, and Tripp Smith will serve as pallbearers. The family will receive friends on Sunday from 1:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. and on Monday from 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. at the Robertson County Funeral Home.
Mrs. Bunch was born December 13, 1937 in Springfield to the late John and Lucille Cahill Mantlo. She worked numerous places throughout her lifetime, Woodland Street School, J.C. Penny, Randolph House, Sullivan’s, Goody’s, RCA Auto Parts, and Holman Jewelers. Mrs. Bunch was of the Nazarene faith. She loved quilting, sewing, reading, and especially spending time with her family. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband: Charles Bunch, by her brothers: Chester and John Mantlo, Jr., and by her sister: Dorothy Mantlo Morrow.
Mrs. Bunch is survived by her daughter and son-in-law: Sherrie and Troy Smith of Springfield, her son and daughter-in-law: Chuck and Beth Bunch of Murfreesboro, her brother and sister-in-law: Jerry and Donna Mantlo of Baltimore, MD, her grandchildren: Brannon Smith, Duran Bunch, Amy Smith, Sarah Bertrand, and Mia Bragdon, and by her great grandchildren: Ross, Tripp, and Trista Smith.
