Dwayne Scott Hallman, age 58 of Nashville, died Saturday, November 16, 2019 at VA Medical Center in Nashville. Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, November 20, 2019 at 12:00 noon in the Oakhurst Chapel of Robertson County Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Orlinda Cemetery with family and friends serving as pallbearers. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday from 10 AM until the hour of service.
Mr. Hallman was born, September 10, 1961 in Ft. Campbell, KY to the late Kenneth Scott Hallman and the late Ruth Jeanette Fisher Abrams. He was a member of the Baptist faith and attended Crossroads Baptist Church. He graduated from Hillwood High School in Nashville and attended Western Kentucky University and graduated from Aquinas Junior College. He was an avid Alabama Crimson Tide fan. He was a veteran of the United States Army in which he worked in Helicopter repair and then worked for Gibson Guitar and UPS.
He is survived by his fiancée, Judy Mallory of Nashville; aunts and uncles, Carolyn and Jesse Aldridge of Greenbrier and Diane and Neal Manias of Louisville, KY; and several cousins.
The family request, if so desired, for memorial contributions to be made to Wounded Warriors. All donations can be sent c/o Robertson County Funeral Home.
