Donald Joseph “Donnie” Miller, age 72 of Goodlettsville, TN, died Tuesday January 15, 2019, at St Thomas Midtown hospital. A funeral Mass will be held at 11 am on Friday, January 18, 2019, at the St. Michaels Catholic Church. Burial will follow in the St. Michaels Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the Robertson County Funeral Home on Thursday, January 17 from 4 pm until 8 pm and again on Friday, January 18 from 9 am until 10 am.
Donnie was born May 11, 1946, in Washington, DC to the late Joseph L. and Clara Elizabeth Neir Miller. He was a member of St. Michaels Catholic Church and the Knights of Columbus. He worked as a tour bus driver, was a talented and award-winning artist, automotive painter and graphic designer. He also served as a volunteer fireman with the Ridgetop Fire Department.
Mr. Miller is survived by his son, Clayton Miller of Goodlettsville, TN; stepson, Chris Racht of Madison, TN; stepdaughters, Amanda Johnson of Goodlettsville, TN, and Brittany (Doug) Werth of Orlando, FL; and stepgrandchildren, Taylor Johnson and Douglas Werth II.
The family requests that memorial donations be made to help with Donnie’s funeral expense, if so desired. All donations may be made to Robertson County Funeral Home.
