Brad Gower Obituary

Bradley Scott “Brad” Gower, 40, of Cedar Hill, passed away on Sunday April 21, 2019 at Vanderbilt Medical Center. Funeral services will be conducted Friday April 26th at 1:00 p.m. in the Oakhurst Chapel of the Robertson County Funeral Home with Brother Billy Ellis and Brother Jerry Heflin officiating. Interment will follow in Springfield Memorial Gardens with Chris Duke, Chris Traughber, Jimmy Henley, Joey Newberry, Scott Dillehay, Jeromy Lewis, Ryan Sherrill, and J.W. Robertson serving as pallbearers. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and on Friday from 10:00 a.m. until service time at the funeral home.

Brad was born July 18, 1978 in Davidson County. He graduated from South Haven Christian Academy in 1996 and was a member of Head’s Free Will Baptist Church. Brad was co-owner of Gower Brothers Construction Company. He loved hunting, woodworking, boating, going to the lake, and spending time with his family and friends. He was preceded in death by his grandparents: Dewell and Emma Gower, James and Ida Jackson.

Brad is survived by his wife: Jessica Harbert Gower of Cedar Hill, his children: Branden, Kaylynn, and Emma Gower all of Cedar Hill, his father and mother: Terry and Jean Jackson Gower of Springfield, his brother and sister-in-law: Brent and Melissa Gower of Cedar Hill, and by his nephews: Holden Gower, Brayden, Aeson, and Cannyn Harbert.

The family request memorial contributions be made to the Gower Children’s Fund. All donations can be sent c/o Robertson County Funeral Home or The Credit Union of Robertson County.
