Ann Tanner Obituary

Barbara Ann Tanner, 75, of Springfield, passed away on Monday September 10, 2018 at North Crest Medical Center. Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday September 12th at 3:00 p.m. in the Oakhurst Chapel of the Robertson County Funeral Home. Honorary pallbearers will be Jim, Tom, Ken, and John Stroud, Wayne and Randy Crain. The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. until service time at the funeral home.

Mrs. Tanner was born May 7, 1943 in Cedar Hill to the late Wesley Thomas "Jady" and Flora Henderson Inman. She was a retired seamstress from Nasco and was a member of West End Free Will Baptist Church. Mrs. Tanner enjoyed bowling, playing and spending time with her grandchildren. She was known for loving to play practical jokes and pulling pranks on her family and friends. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings: Maxine Stroud, Emojean Crain, and D.L. York.

Mrs. Tanner is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law: David and Marisa Tanner of Waynesboro, VA, Brian and LaKandra Tanner of Portland, her brother: Don Inman of Madison, her grandchildren: Lexis, Heather, Hailey, Dane, Hunter, Brashanz, Kingsley, Braeden, and Kanaja, and by her great grandchild Liam.
