Rickey Boyte

Rickey Wayne Boyte, 78, of Clarksville, passed away on Wednesday January 17, 2024, at Tennova Medical Center in Clarksville. His remains will be cremated, and a Memorial Service will be planned at a future date.

Rickey was born March 31, 1945, in Springfield, to the late Wilford Boyte and the late Hazel Fryer Boyte Jones. He was a graduate of Springfield High School Class of 1963 and went on to receive his bachelor’s degree from Austin Peay State University. Rickey worked many years for Acme Boot in Clarksville, which later became Farley Industries, and where he retired from in operations management. He was a member of Palestine Methodist Church in Springfield, and he enjoyed boating, fishing, and guns. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister: Brenda Boyte Harris.

Rickey is survived by his wife: Lynda Jackson Boyte of Clarksville, by his sons: Scott (Gena) Boyte of Nashville, and Michael (Stephen Caple) Boyte of Memphis, by grandchildren: Summer Boyte, Fielding Smith, and Parker Smith, by his great grandchild: Braylan Smith, and by his brother and sister-in-law: Jerry and Betty Boyte of Murfreesboro.
