Marine (Vanderpool) Miller

Marine Inez Miller, 56, of Springfield, passed away on Sunday January 28, 2024, at The Residence at Alive Hospice in Nashville. Graveside services will be conducted Thursday February 1st at 1:00 p.m. in the Mayes Cemetery with Tim Harris officiating. Pallbearers will be Jack Miller, Matthew Pointer, Landon Hunt, Nathan Hunt, and Anthony Pryor. There will be no public visitation prior to the graveside service.

Marine was born October 16, 1967, in Springfield, to the late Alvin Lee and Alma Jean Wilson Vanderpool. She was a graduate of Greenbrier High School Class of 1985 and was always a social butterfly. Marine was a homemaker and enjoyed gardening, antiques, and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

Marine is survived by her daughter: Rachel Pointer and husband Matthew of Springfield, by her son: Jack Miller and wife Star of Joelton, by her sister: Margie Kitchens and husband Randy of Goodlettsville, and by her grandchildren: Natalie Pryor, Anthony Pryor, Jaxson Miller, and Willow Miller.
