Keagan Alexander Robinson was born July 30, 2015, to Lauren Johnson in Nashville, TN. Keagan was blessed to have his Dad Malik Lewis-Bride to come into his life at the age of 7 months.
Keagan was a bright eyed, happy, joyful, smart, and witty young man. He never allowed his circumstances to hinder him from enjoying life. Keagan rarely frowned or complained about anything. Keagan enjoyed playing videos games like Smash Brothers, Roblox with his cousins, and aunties. He absolutely loved dinosaurs, Pokémon, beaches, and 80’s rock music. Keagan also enjoyed his superheroes; he has had so many bedroom themes throughout his young 8 years of life. The last design being superman.
Keagan was such a miracle child in so many ways. He was not expected to live past the age of 3. However, Keagan surpassed all things that he and his parents were told he wouldn’t or couldn’t do. He was able to go to school, and be promoted to his next levels, he was able to ambulate with his special made wheelchair with his superhero cape. Keagan learned how to use that chair exquisitely. He could twirl, chase you, dance and sometimes run over you. He just got a kick out of that.
Keagan accomplished so much in his young life. He was ambassador for Hope for Kids. Ambassador for Childrens Vanderbilt Hospital for Muscular Dystrophy where he was the face and feature for all things MD. Keagan traveled in his last few years as much as his body would allow to bring awareness to the disease that hindered his body. Keagan was granted a visit to Disney in Orlando Florida by the Make a Wish Foundation, the trip of a Lifetime. Keagan was the type of child who was wise beyond his years, and he simply adored his parents Lauren and Babe as he affectionally called Malik. Recently, Keagan was asked about his 9th birthday. He would not even hear of this; you see Keagan was preparing to be with the Father and he didn’t want all of us to worry.
Keagan transitioned from this life to complete and total peace on March 27, 2024, at 9:01 pm. Keagan was surrounded by his loving, and devoted parents Lauren, Malik, and each one of his closest family members. Keagan is now resting and present with our Lord and Savior.
Keagan is survived by his parents: Lauren (Malik Lewis-Bride) Johnson of Joelton. Sisters; Myla, and Taylor Lewis both of Joelton.
