Betty (Raymer) Darrow

Betty Margaret Darrow, 86, of Springfield, passed from this life on Monday February 12, 2024, at  TriStar NorthCrest Medical Center. Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday February 14th at 1:00 p.m. in the Oakhurst Chapel of Robertson County Funeral Home with Tim Harris officiating. Interment will follow in Springfield Memorial Gardens with Willie Alfred Darrow, Jr., Lewis Steven Darrow, Troyce Phillip Darrow, Paul Elvis Darrow, John Robert Darrow, and Troyce Edward Darrow serving as pallbearers. The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. until service time on Wednesday at the funeral home.

Ms. Betty was born December 6, 1937, in Cedar Hill, to the late Bob and Rosie Douglas Raymer. She was a homemaker and was of the Baptist faith. Ms. Betty loved fishing, cooking, and taking care of her family, especially her grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband: Willie Alfred Darrow, Sr., by her sons: Danny Darrow and John Tracey Darrow, and by her grandsons: Willie Alfred Darrow, III, and James Brian Darrow.

Ms. Betty is survived by her sons: Willie Alfred (Judy) Darrow, Jr., of Springfield, David Wayne Darrow of Springfield, Lewis Steven (Darlene) Darrow of Springfield, and Troyce Phillip Darrow, by her grandsons: Paul Elvis (Amy Lynn) Darrow, John Robert (Amanda) Darrow, and Troyce Edward Darrow, and by her 12 great grandchildren.
