Ricky Lynn "Snapper" Heatherly, age 59 of Springfield, TN died Saturday, November 22, 2014 at his home. Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday November 25, 2014 at 12 pm in the Oakhurst Chapel of the Robertson County Funeral Home with Bro. Steve Freeman officiating. Burial will follow in Elmwood Cemetery with John Anderson, Donnie Wallace, Roy Maddle, Tony Owens, Rusty Wallace and Donnie Wallace Jr. serving as pallbearers.
Snapper was born April 26, 1955 in Robertson County, Tennessee to Rosie Kiger Heatherly of Springfield and the late Harold Heatherly. A nephew, Jason Brown also preceded him in death. In addition to his mother, Mr. Heatherly is survived by brothers and sister-in-law, Wayne and Bea Heatherly and Don Heatherly all of Springfield; sisters and brothers-in-law, Annette "Puggy" and John Anderson of Cedar Hill, Tennessee and Vicky and Donnie Wallace of Springfield, one nephew and two nieces.
