Reba Mae Frey

Reba Mae Gentry Frey, 68, of Cross Plains, died Saturday August 6, 2016 at her home. Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday August 10th at 1:00 p.m. at the Orlinda Baptist Church with Dr. Troy George and Dr. David Jicka officiating. Interment will follow in the Cross Plains Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the Milldale Chapel and on Wednesday from 11:00 a.m. until the hour of service at the Orlinda Baptist Church.

Mrs. Frey was born December 22, 1947 in Davidson County to the late Hayden Evans and Eva Dee Bennett Gentry. She was a homemaker. Mrs. Frey was a member of Orlinda Baptist Church, where she directed the Shepherd's Place clothing ministry. She loved gardening, flowers, hummingbirds, and taking care of all their farm cattle. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her step-father: Roy Graves.

Mrs. Frey is survived by her husband: Stan Frey of Cross Plains, son: Todd (Bobbie) Swindell of Portland, daughter: Tammy Swindell of Nashville, step-son: Sandy Frey of Cross Plains, brother: David Gentry of Nashville, sisters: Erma Sullivan of Hendersonville, Doris Smith of Fayetteville, step-brother: Mike Graves of Roswell, GA, six grandchildren, six great grandchildren
