Mrs. Bracey was born May 27, 1928 in Robertson County to the late Robert Ervin and Ruby Pauline Glover Pratt. She was a member of Mt. Sharon Cumberland Presbyterian Church all her married life and was faithful in attendance until her health failed. She had a beautiful voice that she shared for many years in the choir, she was a former Elder, Sunday School teacher, and CPWM member. She grew up in the Martins Chapel United Methodist Church and you would always see her taking up tickets at the annual BBQ with her husband by her side.

Pauline starting selling Avon in 1956 and later became a District Sales Manager until her retirement in 1985. She was a three time Circle of Excellence winner; Avon's highest honor which allowed her the opportunity to travel to Atlanta, New York, Bermuda and Hawaii; a four time President's Celebration Winner and served on Avon's National District Manager's Panel. One of her greatest joys other than her grandchildren and great grandchildren was the many friends she made with Avon. After retirement she enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, being a "Pink Lady" for Jesse Holman Jones Hospital and later North Crest Auxiliary where she served as President and a buyer for the gift shop. She was a natural saleslady and loved her days buying and displaying items for the gift shop. She also had a love of antiques and old quilts and was a vendor at the Tennessee State Fairground Flea Market and also at the Christmas Sampler in Springfield for many years. During her lifetime she was a member of the Springfield Business and Professional Women's Club, Farm Bureau Women, and the Home Demonstration Club.

Mrs. Bracey was a lady of noble character. Whatever venture she set out on, she gave it her all. She loved doing for others and was always willing to help her fellow man. So many of the verses of Proverbs 31 are fitting to her, but especially verse 31: "Give her of the fruit of her hands, and let her own works praise her in the gates"

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son: Paul (Dickey) Bracey, Jr., brother: Robert Ervin Pratt, Jr., sisters: Josephine Pratt Russo and Charlene Binkley Sugg, and by her step-father: Charlie Binkley.

Mrs. Bracey is survived by her husband of 68 years: Paul Bracey, Sr., daughter: Paulette (Dale Owen) Duffer, daughter-in-law: Judy Bracey (Tom) Parham all of Greenbrier, grandsons: Brent (Kristi) Bracey of Jonesboro, AR, Brandon (Elizabeth) Duffer of Franklin, KY, and Jason (Lacy)Duffer of Greenbrier, great grandsons: Logan Bracey and Tristan Duffer, sisters-in-law: Vera Pratt and Evelyn Empson, brother-in-law: Vincent Russo, cousin: June Pratt Post, and several nieces and nephews

The family request memorial contributions be made to the Mt. Sharon Cumberland Presbyterian Church building fund.
