Paul Wayne Gainous

Paul Wayne Gainous, 69, of Cedar Hill, died Sunday October 2, 2016 at Skyline Medical Center. Funeral services will be conducted Thursday October 6th at 2:00 p.m. in the Oakhurst Chapel of the Robertson County Funeral Home with Bro. Brent Johnson officiating. Interment will follow in Springfield Memorial Gardens. Honorary pallbearers will be the members of the Robertson County Coon Hunter's Club. The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 1:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and on Thursday from 9:00 a.m. until service time at the funeral home.

Mr. Gainous was born October 29, 1946 in Robertson County to the late Edward Ray and Mary Frances Satterfield Gainous. He was a retired superintendent with Springfield Electrolux and was a member of Calvary General Baptist Church in Adairville, KY. Mr. Gainous was a member of the Robertson County Coon Hunter's Club, and he attended all 41 benefits for St. Jude Children's Hospital that was sponsored by the club. He enjoyed being on facebook and coon hunting.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers: Jerry Mac, Leslie Jeff, and Robert Earl Gainous. Mr. Gainous is survived by his wife of 49 years: Virginia Walker Gainous of Cedar Hill, daughter and son-in-law: Cindy and David Bond of Adairville, KY, brother: Bobby Ray Gainous and wife Fay of Adairville, KY, brothers and sisters-in-law: James, Eddie, Tom, and Jack Walker, and Josie Gray, grandchildren: Kelsey Bond, Jason Bond and wife Cindy, great grandchildren: Lauren and Mitch Bond.
